If you are looking for things-to-do in Pelion, the guided boat trip to the “Sea Caves of Thetis” is a unique attraction, that no visitor should miss. Learn more about the history and myths of the sea caves from your local tour leader and enjoy the magnificence of the surrounding landscape. It is an alternative and fun way to experience Pelion’s nature and create unforgettable memories with your family and friends.
Meet with your tour leader at the small port of “Chorefto” or “Agios Ioannis”, get briefed about the tour and embark on our boat. We sail 10 miles to the North, to the secluded part of Pelion. Our destination, the area of the sea caves, is located almost at the end of the mountain. Once there, if the sea conditions allow it, we visit the caves and enter four of them by boat. At the last cave, we make a small break for swimming! Then we return to the south edge of the sea caves area, at the most beautiful and isolated beach of Pelion, for our main break. Have fun with your family and friends, while swimming, snorkeling and playing in the sea. After our break, relax in the boat and enjoy the ride back to “Chorefto” or "Agios Ioannis".
What to Wear: You should wear sandals or flip-flops, no shoes are required. We strongly recommend wearing sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and of course your swimming suits!
What to Bring: Our recommendations for things that you should bring with you and may be useful are snacks, water, and towels.
