Meet with your cooking instructor at “Marea” restaurant in “Chorefto”, and be welcomed with freshly baked Greek coffee and fresh orange juice for our little friends. We cook with local products of Pelion and Thessaly such as olive oil, vegetables, herbs, "feta" cheese, and honey.
Get your aprons on and start cooking! Throughout the class, everyone gets the chance to be actively involved in the preparation of a greek traditional meal. You will learn how to cook “Gemista”, one of the most traditional, homemade dishes you can find in the Greek countryside. Chop, peel, saute and find out the secrets of homemade cuisine. Additionaly, you will learn how to make the traditional cheese pie “Skopelitiki” with homemade "fillo" dough.
While our courses get ready, you will have the chance to try our local drink “tsipouro”, served with local snacks ("mezes").
“Gemista” will be served on the table accompanied by "feta" cheese, seasonal salad, and Greek white wine or local beer.
Enjoy your gastronomical creations on our balcony and get the chance to eat and relax overlooking the Aegean Sea.
